Fascinating look at what fruit digests as (sugar and water) and how diminished they become through modern agricultural methods and by pre-slicing them. Article.
NYU’s School of Global Public Health is holding a conference March 27, 2008 – Hidden Hunger: Micronutrient Defincies & The Developing World.

So my girlfriend does not have much gear and doesn’t have a gym membership. So I just wanted to list all the possible body weight exercises that I could come up with so I could do a better job of doing the “constantly varied” thing instead of making her do the same thing all the time. So here we go:
Basic Bodyweight Exercises
Advance Bodyweight Exercises
Side Planche Hold
Need some stuff, but can find around the house/neighborhood:
She has some gear: Rings, 17 lbs Kettlebell, 30 lbs Sandbag
Ring Jumping Pullups
Ring Jumping Dips
Ring Pushup Position Holds
KB Sumo Deadlift High Pull
KB Turkish Getup
SB Clean & Jerk
SB Front Squat
SB Back Squat
SB Turkish Getup
And here’s a thread that describes Eva T’s bodyweight workouts, some great stuff here:

Have to put up this link as well, a very cheap home gym description and links in about 350 words:
That’s about all I can come up with now.
A great post by Robb Wolf with some very valuable material for your clients dealing with food intake and guicance.
Just wanted to throw the links up here. The first seems fascinating to me. The idea of diet doesn’t even get mentioned. Just that there are to surgeries that will shrink your stomach and that this is an answer to diabetes.
This second one isn’t much better. Again, trying to find a more complicated solution to a drastically simpler problem. But with the complicated solution, you get a pill that you can get research money for, market, and sell, which equals $$.
