Published without permission, previous knowledge or any certainty as to his likely sobriety during tonights 6pm WOD.

Here’s the link to the video that I was telling you about the other day that my buddy Matt Ufford made for Fight Gone Bad. Again, he was the top fundraiser – we’re buddies from our time at 1st Tanks together.

And just a few random observations of no significance:

– I know that everyone does crossfit for their own individual reasons, the majority of which lay within the realm of getting in better shape, healthier lifestyle, blah blah, etc. However, I have come to the realization that I am in the small minority who bought off into crossfit as an excuse to drink socially in pt gear. I know that I am not alone in this as it’s always reassuring to look over and see B-Mitch knocking back some cocktails in his sweats too.

-B-Mitch, that previous bullet point should be of great cause of concern for you. As a general rule of thumb, it’s never good to be rowing in my boat…

-Scott, please note the shout out to 1st Tanks at the end of the end of the video. Yes, 1st Tanks produced some f’d up individuals during our tenure there (look no further than DP). Also, I didn’t hit you up today for racquetball because I did the wod and thought that we should be on equal footing for the match. Also, as a result of the wod, I didn’t regain use of my hands until a few minutes ago… Hit me up if you want to play tomorrow. And along the lines of equal footing, you will need to drink 17-23 beers tonight to be on par with me tomorrow. If you don’t wreak of Miller Lites at game time, the match is off…

-B Wilson, I remember reading a blog that you titled “I Don’t Send Christmas Cards” or something to that effect. I’m considering writing a rebuttal titled, “I Keep Checking My Mailbox Anyways.”

-Here’s a link to an outstanding, raw, and powerful narrative written by Ufford last year on Veterans Day. I have to give mad props to anyone who owns up to giving “one of the least inspirational speeches in the history of warfare.” Makes me look like Patton. Then again, I’m pretty sure that my Marines followed me out of sheer curiosity more than anything else… http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/2009/11/ksk-off-topic-some-thoughts-on-veterans-day.html

-I’m done building Ufford up so I’ll end this w a photo of me eating his girlfriend’s finger while he stands by idly because I’m bigger, funnier, and a better writer:
